Common Questions
How many apartments are there?
There are 78 apartments with basement car parking. These are owner/occupied, tenanted or run as serviced apartments.

What security is there?
The apartments, courtyard, walkways and car parking are secure at all times. Access is by way of proximity card. Your visitors can contact you from the main entry via an audio monitor within your apartment. You are able to provide your visitors access by unlocking the main entry from your apartment. The car park is also opened by proximity card.

What car parking is available?
Car parking can be confirmed at the time of booking your accommodation and is situated in the fully enclosed and secure basement, which is accessed by stairs and a lift from each apartment level. Access to the car park is via Pakenham Street. There is also a public parking building adjacent to Viaduct Point which can provide ample parking for visitors.

What views are there?
All apartments have either city, garden and/or water views.

Do all apartments have outdoor living areas?
All apartments have either private courtyards or decks that flow from the living area. There is also a central common garden area available to residents/guests only.

What facilities do I have close-by?
The YMCA Tepid Baths (two minutes walk from the Viaduct Point) provides gymnasium facilities, a swimming pool and sauna, spa and steam room. There is also an excellent physiotherapy practice on site.

Queen and High Streets are only a six minute walk, providing comprehensive shopping, banking and commercial facilities, along with excellent entertainment venues.

The Auckland Harbour Ferry Terminal is six minutes walk away and provides access to ferries that will take you on a 10 minute ride, landing you in the centre of Auckland's historic and picturesque Devonport. Here you can enjoy walking on the beach, viewing the historic buildings or shopping, as well as the superb fare of the many cafes and restaurants available.

A twenty minute ferry ride takes you to Waiheke Island and its superb beaches, vineyards and cottage industries. It is a world away from Auckland's bustling city centre. Ferries also travel to Northcote, Birkenhead, Gulf Harbour and Great Barrier, as well as on a number of harbour and gulf cruises.

Enjoy walking? Then close by are Victoria Park and its self-named market, and a yachtie's delight, Westhaven Marina. Ten minutes away, at the bottom of College Hill, is the New World Supermarket where you can purchase anything that your stomach desires.

Ponsonby, a twenty minute march up the lovely tree-lined Franklin Road, offers excellent cafes and stylish shopping - a day could easily disappear here for an enthusiastic shopper!

And around the Viaduct Harbour itself? There are boats and bands and entertainers surrounding, and surrounded by, 40 restaurant and bars within a few minutes walk from your apartment. These include Sails, Harbourside, HQ, Kermadec, Degree, The Loaded Hog, Milano, Cin Cins, Euro, Wildfire, Liquid and Soul Bar.
